The integral reform of this 185m2 apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms aimed to improve the original distribution of the house to create an open day area, fill it with natural light and expand the bedrooms in the night area.
The house originally had a very good structure to achieve the objectives since being a high floor had a lot of natural light and the floor plan was rectangular with a very separate day area and night area but “we found many load-bearing walls They did not allow us to make the movements we wanted to make in a simple way, but after carrying out the pertinent calculations with the technical department, we were able to reach the set objectives, ”says Pia Capdevila.
The house had a long corridor and was very compartmentalized. The idea was that everything worked as a single space in which each one shone with their own identity but connected. Another objective was to bring natural light to the central area of the house (it is a corner building and focused to the southeast).
