The first international project of the interior designer Pia Capdevila has represented a work from beginning to end of the reform of a single-family house in the center of Paris.
Specifically, it is an old mansion from the early twentieth century by the architect Henri Dubouillony located in the 16th District, an elegant and exclusive area featuring this type of classic constructions.
The owners – a young couple of entrepreneurs (he French and she Spanish) with three children – already resided in the area and when they saw the possibility of acquiring this mansion,
They did not hesitate in order to make it ‘the house of their dreams’. And although the house was in good condition, it was decided to completely reform it to adapt it to your needs and tastes. Of course, the distribution in the six floors was maintained, the outdoor areas were tidied up and
a ‘facelift’ to the stone façade.
